Does your insurance include Acupuncture? More and more insurance companies are offering to include Acupuncture so you might just want to check with your provider to find out. Here are some questions to ask them.
We are an Out-of-Network provider. If your insurance does cover acupuncture out-of-network and you’ve met your deductible, we will accept your insurance for payment with a few exceptions (see below). Please verify your benefits by going here. Once your benefits have been verified and we’ve gotten confirmation (usually 2-3 days), you’ll be all set up and we will file the claims for you.
Medicare & Medicare Supplements
We do not accept Medicare or Medicare Supplements. This is because the reimbursement rates are well below our self-pay rate. We will ask that you pay the self-pay rate at the time of service and will give you a receipt that you can file yourself with Medicare or your Medicare supplement.
You can always use your HSA or FSA to pay for Acupuncture treatments whether or not your insurance company includes coverage.
If you are already enrolled in VA health care, the Veterans Choice Program allows you to receive health care within your community. You just need to get authorized by your Veterans Clinic to receive Acupuncture treatments from us under your Veterans Choice Program.
